Mosler MT900 GTR XX Twin Turbo Land Shark

Debieron quedarse contentos con el nombre sus creadores. Bajo esta interminable denominación, la compañía Intense Automotive Design (IAD) han creado una versión hiperradicalizada del Mosler MT900 GTR XX, trabajando en la potencia y en la reducción de peso.

Su motor es un LS7 de origen General Motors y 381 pulgadas cúbicas de cilindrada (unos 6.2 litros). Puede funcionar con gasolina, metanol, etanol e incluso hidrógeno (eso dicen en IAD), lo que les ha permitido homologar al coche como híbrido. Pero lo más increíble es su potencia, puesto que aseguran que entrega más de 2.500 CV.

Con semejante potencia, acelera de 0 a 100 km/h en 2.5 segundos, hasta 150 mph (242 km/h) en 6.7 segundos y hasta 250 mph (402 km/h) en 17.2 segundos. Realmente impresionante. El motor usa un sofisticado sistema de inyección de gasolina, proveniente de varios depósitos de gasolina. Además, incluye titanio, carbono y materiales cerámicos para contener el peso.

Frente al Molser MT900 normal, se ha rebajado el peso en 250 kg hasta quedarse en tan sólo 861 kg. Esto, unido a una trabajadísima aerodinámica, hacen que teóricamente el coche pueda aguantar las 375 mph (604 km/h), aunque no sé si alguien se atrevería a ponerlo a esa velocidad.

El coche es de tracción total, gestionada por un sistema desarrollado en titanio y fibra de carbono. Las llantas son Dymag ligeras de 19 pulgadas en el eje delantero y 20 en el trasero. A pesar de ser toda una bestia, cuenta con navegador o sistema de sonido Alpine 7.1 Dolby Digital.

Falta un dato no menos importante acerca de sus prestaciones 0-150-0(mp/h) en 8,7 seg, siendo que el record actual de o-100-0(mp/h)!!!! es en 9,4!! del Ultima GTR 720!!!. Frena en increibles 8,5 seg desde 400km/h!!! El 1/4 de milla lo corre en 9seg, alcanzando una velocidad de 178 mp/h. Simplemente Brutal. Bueno, no se podría esperar menos de un auto que pesa 777 kg (861 cargado completamente de combustible)y tiene 2500 hp :p
